Gnr. Edward Harris

British Army 6 Heavy Anti-aircraft Regiment, 15 Battery Royal Artillery

(d.14th Feb 1942)

Edward Harris died at the age of 28 whilst serving with the Royal Artillery. He was born in Jarrow in 1914, son of John and Helen Harris of Reading Berkshire.

Edward is buried in Jakarta War Cemetery and is commemorated on the WW2 Roll of Honour Plaque in the entrance of Jarrow Town Hall.
