Watson Johnson was born in 1915 in Northumberland, son of Thomas Watson Johnson and Alice Blanche Johnson (nee Moore) of Primrose Jarrow
Watson is buried in Knightsbridge War Cemetery, Acroma and is commemorated on the WW2 Roll of Honour Plaque in the entrance of Jarrow Town Hall.
