Raymond Lugg who died aged 16 was born in Jarrow in 1927, the son of Olive Pratt (nee Lugg) and stepson of William Pratt of Jarrow.
Raymond is remembered on the Tower Hill Memorial and is commemorated on the WW2 Roll of Honour Plaque in the entrance of Jarrow Town Hall.
