215893 Pte. Albert Noone British Army 8th Btn. Durham Light Infantry (d.22nd Mar 1943) Albert Noone served with the 8th Battalion Durham Light Infantry and died, age 28, on the 22nd March 1943. He was born in Jarrow 1915, the son of Martin and Sarah Jane Noone (nee Doogan) of Jarrow. He is commemorated on the WW2 Roll of Honour Plaque in the entrance of Jarrow Town Hall and on the Medjez-El-Bab Memorial.
