William Perkson died aged 64, he was the husband of Henrietta Perkson (nee Vaughan) of Jarrow. He is remembered on the Tower Hill Memorial and is commemorated on the WW2 Roll of Honour Plaque in the entrance of Jarrow Town Hall.
