David Robinson died aged 23, whilst training as a pilot with the RAF. He was born in Jarrow in 1917, son of David and Emma J. Robinson (nee Neesham) of Monkton.
He is remembered in Jarrow Cemetery and is commemorated on the WW2 Roll of Honour Plaque in the entrance of Jarrow Town Hall.
