Edward Rogan died age 17 whilst serving with the Royal Artillery. He was born in Jarrow in 1922, son of James and Sarah Jane Rogan (nee Downey) of Jarrow. He is buried in Jarrow Cemetery and is commemorated on the WW2 Roll of Honour Plaque in the entrance of Jarrow Town Hall.
