George William Rymell served with 255 Field Company Royal Engineers and died, age 22, on the 24th April 1943.
He was born in Willington Quay 1920, the son of Thomas H. and Mary Rymell (nee Morland).
He is commemorated on the WW2 Roll of Honour Plaque in the entrance of Jarrow Town Hall and is buried in Massicault War Cemetery.
