Wireless Operator Robert Warkcup died aged 21, he was the son of William Simpson Warkcup and Elizabeth Ann Warkcup of Hebburn. He is buried in
Darlington West Cemetery and is commemorated on the WW2 Roll of Honour Plaque in the entrance of Jarrow Town Hall.
