221677 Able Sea. Henry Samuel George Davies Royal Navy HMS Panther from:Lambeth, London (d.9th Oct1943) Henry Davies, known in the family as Harry Boy, was my father's cousin. His mother lost her first husband in the First World War. He died on the 9th of October 1943 along with thirty five shipmates whilst serving aboard their ship HMS Panther when it was sunk by German bombers in the Mediterranean.
