222756 LBdr. Bernard Bradley British Army 85 Anti-Tank Regt. Royal Artillery from:Worplesdon, Surrey (d.31st July 1945) Bernard and his brother Harry survived evacuation from Dunkirk and shortly after some leave, were drafted to Singapore. Both became POWs on the fall of Singapore. Harry survived and continued to serve in the Royal Artillery until he was 55, finishing as Sergeant Major. Bernard Bradley died on 31st July 1945, aged 25 and is buried in the Kranji War Cemetery in Singapore.
