My father, Hector Charles Rudd, joined the Signals in 1939 and served in Egypt and Sicily. He was awarded the Star of Africa, The Star of Italy, the 1939 to 1945 Star and the Defense Medal (plus 2 others I cannot identify). He left the army in 1946. I would like to hear from anyone that might have known of him or his unit.
