Royal Air Force 57 Squadron from:Donegal Bill McCrea flew with 57 Sqd. during the war, his memoirs " A Chequer Board of Nights", was published several years ago, Sadly he died in February but saw the rough cut of a short film I and the Granddaughter of his mid upper gunner made of chapter 6 of his book.
