224964 Sgt. Robert Wheeler Coston US Army Company A 423 Infantry Regiment from:Mississippi, USA My Grandfather, Sgt. Robert W. Coston, was taken prisoner at the Battle of the Bulge. Like his fellows, he was starved by the Nazis and became ill. A fellow POW, who was African American, saved his life by catching, cooking and feeding him rats. Our family has long been grateful to and wondered who this Angel was. If anyone knows his identity we would appreciate finding out.
