I'm sorry I don't know much, only that my dad, William Smith was on HMT Northern Gem in the war. He was on [Arctic Convoy] PQ17. Before war he was a fisherman in Crail, Fife. He later married my mam just after the war and then moved to England. I would love some more info on my dad.
