Morrie Walker served with 7 Squadron, his log book includes the Nuremburg raid on the 30th of March 1944 - had good trip!
He also served with 582 Squadron from April 1944 as a Pathfinder navigator based at RAF Little Staughton
He was interned in the Canary Islands for 4 months from 21st of October 1942 to 22nd if February 1943 as a result of Wellington on a Ferry trip to The Gambia, being ditched due to engine trouble.
He is said to have drunk with German services personnel on Gran Canaria.
He was invalided out of war in October 1944 and returned to NZ.
