George Beale was captured at the fall of Singapore with his brother, Fred. They were sent to Naoetsu, Japan on a hell-ship. Sadly, George did not survive the camp and is buried in Yokohama War Cemetery, Aus. Sec. E.A.3. Fred died in 1992.
