228918 Leonard James Owen British Army Seaforth Highlanders from:East Ham, London My dad, Leonard James Owen, joined the army in 1940 aged 17 and was stationed in the Seaforth Highlander regiment. After training in Scotland he was stationed in India and Malaya, but spent most of the time fighting in the Burmese jungle during world war 2. He was awarded the Burma Star. He has just passed away aged 92. We have no pictures or anything to show but would love to find out how to receive any information of his time there!
