My grandfather was an Italian POW sent to Africa, stationed in the then Southern Rhodesia. His war record shows he was a prisoner in Ethiopia Prison Camp No. 3 Internment Camp Gatooma. He left Durban in 1942 by ship, repat no. 9305, ticket no or ID no Tessera 16595, Group 2.
