Sgt. Arthur "Skid" Lister
Royal Air Force
(d.2nd May 1944)
My grandfather, Sgt Arthur Lister, was a pilot during WWII. He was shot down and killed in May 1944. I know he was orignally from Newmarket, Suffolk before moving to the Midlands when he married. I believe his nickname was Skid or Skiddie, apparently from the way he landed his plane. Does anyone remember him?
