On the morning of 7th March 1941 some DO17 Dornier bombers started a raid on London. At 08.35 the plane of Olt. Erich Kunst (hull no. 5K+MK, fuselage No. 3391) was shot down by a "Flaktreffer". Three men were rescued and became POWs:

My uncle, Fw Wilhelm Grosse-Ophoff was missing in action.
Update
Aircraft Dornier DO17Z (3391) of 2/KG3 ditched in the sea off Great Yarmouth at 0835 on the morning of 7rd March 1941. Believed to have been shot down by the Hopton AA Battery on a mission over the Thames Estuary. (Chris)
