My father John Lilley served in WW2. The only information I have is that he was in a tank regiment and he was blown up in the tank while in action. He was in the army hospital with horrific injuries but he survived. I think it was Warrington Hospial. He died in 1950. I don't know what dates he was invalided out of the army. Any information?
