Lt. John Herbert Ridsdale
British Army Royal Corps of Signals
(d.23rd December 1943)
Did anyone know John Herbert Ridsdale (1908-1943) who was a Lt with the Royal Corps of Signals? He served in France, North Africa and Italy, died on 23rd December 1943 and is buried in Bone Military Cemetery, Algeria. He was the son of Rev. H E Ridsdale and was educated at St. Paul's School. He had worked at Milk Marketing Board till 1939. He was my mother's fiance. I don't know which unit he served in. I'd also be interested in any information about the actions in which he might have taken part.
