Sgt. Clara Cater
Auxiliary Terriorial Service Batt. 464
from:Streatham
My mother, Clara Mccullagh (nee Cater), was a Sgt in the ATS WW2 - possibly in Batt 464 at headquarters in Norwich. She often speaks of her Sgt Maj 'Jimmy' James (female) and a colleague called Mary Helen Kellerher. Jimmy may have lived in Greyhound lane, Streatham. Mum lived in Levison Street, Streatham.
Mum married William Mccullagh - REME 179 Batt 64th regiment. Does anyone recognise any of these names?
