Hampden X2920 from 61 Squadron RAF crashed on the Yorkshire Moors near Leeming airfield on 5th October 1940. The crew were all killed. They were:

Sgt W.A. Cannon (buried South Shoebury Churchyard)
Sgt W.B. Rayment (buried Henfield Cemetery)
Sgt A. Algar (buried Derby (Nottingham Rd) Cemetery)
