Cpl. Charles Cecil Jaggard

British Army Royal Corps of Signals

from:Maldon, Essex

As far as I know my father, Charles Jaggard served with the 8th Army in Malta, North Africa and later in Italy. I have some photos of him and his unit in Egypt, and post El Alamein with a knocked out German troop carrier. As far as I know their job was listening in on German communications. I don't know the unit number or name. He was wounded and in hospital in Cairo at one time and apparently they had a visit from King Farouk.
