Lance Corporal Edward Maclean Stewart of the Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders married Violet May Rolls at North Church Paisley on 1st August 1940. He was 24 and she was 21. By finding his marriage certificate I have been able to establish the fact that he had served as a soldier in WW2, his rank and his regiment.
