Merchant Navy SS Lackenby

My great grandfather James Gray was Chief Steward on the SS Lackenby which was singled out and hit by two torpedoes sent from a German U-boat. All crew went down with the ship south of Cape Farewell. James Gray left behind his wife and young daughter.
