North Staffordshire Regiment from:Shaftesbury, Dorset Reg Wareham was my great uncle and served with the North Staffs in Northern Ireland and then as part of the BEF in France. I am afraid that I do not know a lot about his story but he is said to have been so deeply affected by his evacuation from Dunkirk that for years after he would duck for cover whenever he heard the sound of a plane.
