Squadron Leader (Pilot) Allan Farrington was the son of Cyril Hawley Farrington and Ellie Farrington, husband of Alison Jean Farrington (nee Barbour) of Balgowlah, Sydney, Australia.
On 29th August 1944, Allan Farrington and his crew in Lancaster III PB202 60-E were shot down over Jutland while bound for Stettin, on the Baltic (now Szczecin in Poland). He was aged 29 when he died and is buried in a Collective in the Norre Vorupor Cemetery in Denmark.
