Pilot Officer (Air Bomber) John Harper was the son of F/O. James Leslie Harper, R.A.F. (V.R.) who died on active service on the 24th August, 1944 and of his wife Nora of Prenton, Cheshire. John was aged 21 when he died and is buried in the Skive General Cemetery in Denmark.
