Clifford Blakeman served with 8th Survey Regiment, Royal Artillery and died on the 7th of May 1943 aged 22. The son of Arthur and Annie E of Cheddleton, he is buried in Medjez-El-Bab War Cemetery, Tunisia and is remembered on the Cheddleton Village War Memorial.
