Sgt. Benjamin Entwistle
British Army Royal Signals
from:Manchester
My father Benjamin Entwistle joined the regular Army in September 1938 in Manchester and enlisted in the Royal Signals. He was sent to Belgium as part of the BEF in September 1939 and returned in June 1940.
From June 1944 to Sept 1945 he was with the staff of Gen. B. Horrocks.
He was discharged from the Army in 1946 after a spell in Palestine. This is all that I know about his service.
