Sergeant (Wireless Op./Air Gunner) Frederick Erdwin is buried in the north-east corner of the Blessington (St. Mary) Church of Ireland Churchyard in Co. Wicklow, Ireland.
From Frodshim, Cheshire, later living at Old Trafford, Manchester.
He was orphaned at an early age and was reared with his sister in a National Children's Home.
He joined the RAF in 1938 and was trained as a wireless operator at RAf Cranwell.
