My late Dad, Dai Davies served with the 2nd Btn. Royal Welch Fusiliers during WW2. He was called up in August 1940, and got married a few days before leaving. My Mum (now aged 96) has a vivid set of memories, and is remarkable clear of the stories my Dad came home with. I know that he served in Madagascar, India, Burma, and I think Africa.
