Sgt. Arthur George Wright
British Army 5th Btn. Bedford & Hertfordshire Regiment
from:Bedford
(d.19th June 1943)
My dad, Arthur Wright died of cholera whilst a POW in Japanese hands building, along with all the other poor soldiers, the Burma railway. They were cruelly treated, starved ,beaten and stripped of all their dignity, fighting for us all and their country. May they always be remembered!
