L/Cpl. Sidney Henry Trawley
British Army 46th Reconnaissance Corps
from:London
Sidney Trawley was my father. At the age of 23 years he was involved in the Salerno landings where he was seriously injured, afterward spending some months in hospital. I believe he was in an armoured car which received a direct hit from a German 88mm gun. He survived the war and reached the age of 76.
