240529 Sgt. Leonard Wild Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve 625 Squadron from:Reading, Berkshire (d.20th October 1943) Leonard Wild was on his first mission as a navigator in a Lancaster Bomber when he was lost, presumed dead, on 20th October 1943. Some of his comrades were found. One, called Snook, was found washed up on a beach in Holland. Leonard was declared dead by the High Court of Justice on 24th August 1951.
