My dad, Robert Woollard trained at HMS Gosling in, I think, 1944. He was in class 146e. I have a photo but nothing else. I have visited the site in Lady Lane Croft and I am going back to the church on Lady Lane, where I understand there is a plaque donated by HMS Gosling servicemen.
