Sergeant (Navigator) Gordon Manning was the son of William Edward Francis and Katharine Manning, of Malahide.
He was aged 20 when he died during a training flight over England (all the crew were lost) and is buried in the Malahide (St. Andrew) Church of Ireland, Malahide, Co. Dublin, Ireland.
