Royal Australian Air Force 115 Squadron

(d.21st February 1944)

William Wood and his Lancaster crew had been on a bombing mission to Stuttgart. On return, for causes unknown, the aircraft crashed near Shillington, killing all the crew. William is buried in the Cambridge City Cemetery.
