Royal Marines HMS Implacable

My father Lawrence Damari served on HMS Implacable as a marine during World War 2. He served with the British Pacific Fleet and saw action against Japanese forces during 1945 based out of Truk Caroline Islands.
HMS Implacable was built at Fairfield, Glasgow. She was launched in 1942 and saw action off the Norwegian coast in 1944. In 1945 she sailed for the Pacific joining an American Task Force TF37 where she remained until the end of the war.
