My grandfather, Leonard Lilley, belonged to the Territorial Army serving with 237th Battery, 60th Field Regiment, Royal Artillery and was mobilised when war broke out. He was among those who were evacuated from Dunkirk (Operation Dynamo), by MV Royal Daffodil.
