Rflmn. Basil G. Pounds
British Army Rifle Brigade
My late Uncle Basil Pounds was captured after the defence of Calais spent the war as POW Number 7243 in Stalag 344 at Lambinowice, Poland.
He returned home in 1945 and lived a long happy life returned to his wife and became head of ICI Rubber Far East. He passed away 1994.
He was a very nice man.
