Alf Winning enlisted in RASC on the 30th of April 1941 and was posted to 44th Divisional Supply Column. He also served in 12th Water Tank Company and 180 General Transport Company before being posted to 21st Army Group in 1945. He joined 180 General Transport Company on the 8th of August 1945.
