Cpl. James Laidler Scott
British Army 9th Btn. Northumberland Fusiliers
Jim Scott was my grandad's eldest brother. He was in 9th Battalion, Northumberland Fusiliers and was evacuated from Dunkirk after driving men from the front line to the evacuation. He was later captured and worked on the Burma Railway, before dying in Japan. He is remembered in the Yokohama cemetery.
