Fred Jeanes was a pre war Territorial in the Royal Warwickshire Regiment. He was in France with 14th A.F.W, RAOC at time of Dunkirk and was shot in shoulder and wounded at time of the evacuation. He was held as a POW in Stalag VIIIB 1940-42 and in Stalag 383 1942-45,
