My Grandad, Henry Dixon marched through Belgium, Holland and Germany with the 8th Battalion, Middlesex Regiment. In Germany, they marched through Haminkeln, Munster, Osnabruck, Minden, Hannover, Celle, and Bremen. My Grandad never spoke about his time in the war, all we have is a map that he has drawn on showing us where he marched in Germany.
