I don't have much information other than that my father Jack Gray was called up in the summer of 1942. As far as I know he remained in the UK defending the homeland on the heavy ack ack guns. I think he moved around a bit, South Coast, Wales, Tilbury. He was a good pianist, so was in demand for a bit of light entertainment. He also had a trade as a barber so would have cut his mates hair to earn a few bob
