My great uncle Fred Tweedale who was in Donald Grant's crew, they were transferred to 50 Squadron at Skellingthorpe together from 1660 conversion unit. My uncle was killed with a different crew on 4th of October 1943, his original crew had finished their missions but Fred still had one left to do.
